James Tait

General Manager

James is the strategic contact for our blue-chip clients and provides director-level support and guidance to our account teams. He is also responsible for Business Development and actively implements FirstClick's BD strategy.

James joined the FirstClick family in 2011 when FirstClick acquired MediaMax Marketing, a company James founded back in 2006 and directed for five years. Not bad for a guy whose first ever job at twelve was working in a boat yard in Sydney, doing everything from running people to their boats to washing the owner’s dog.

He is most passionate about fly-fishing, and no doubt dreams about winning trophies for his ability, much like he did in his youth as a fast runner.

James studied a B Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing at Charles Sturt University and spent some time working as General Manager of Marketing at lastminute.com.au and travel.com.au, before setting up his own venture, MediaMax Marketing.

James’s favourite part of his role at FirstClick is working with the great people and delivering great results for our clients.

He is based in the Sydney office.

Our performance-based approach and premium service have enabled us to develop a blue-chip client list that includes Medibank, ahm, News.com.au. Foxtel, Toyota and Lexus.
